Need an apartment in Texas but not sure where to start? We are committed to helping you along your journey. Learn about our process below and the different steps involved.
Start by browsing our communities in the Home Finder. Narrow your search by size, price, location, and style, then visit each community’s page to view photos and take 3D tours of the apartments. When you find an available unit that fits, you can apply for it right from the Home Finder. We strive to provide all the information you could want about our homes.
Once you’ve narrowed it down to a few of your ideal apartments, we invite you to reach out to the leasing office. You’ll find the phone number for the community you’re interested in at the bottom of its page. One of our experienced leasing agents will be happy to answer any questions you have and help you set up a tour.
One of the best steps: seeing the apartment in person! Schedule a tour by phone, email, or through the online tour scheduler on our community pages, and a leasing professional will meet you at the community. After the tour, you’ll receive a Lease Offer Form with all the details of the apartment you toured, including price, utility structure, and any move-in specials.
Hopefully you’ve found your dream apartment, and if you need to go back to the drawing board, our leasing team will help you find other suitable options. Once you’re ready, click Apply Now on the community’s page. Everything is done online, and you can pay the application fee as you submit your application.
After you submit, our Applications Department takes over. Applications are usually processed within a few days, and submitting your ID, pay stubs, and other deliverables up front helps us move much quicker. Once the screening is approved, the next step is signing your lease and paying your deposit. Keep in mind an apartment isn’t taken off the market until the lease is signed and the deposit paid.
Before your move-in date you’ll receive an instructional email with all the access details. Our move-in process is person-less, so there’s no office stop needed. Inside your new apartment you’ll find a move-in packet with any applicable gate clickers, mailbox keys, an Inventory and Conditions form, and information about your dedicated property manager.
